What are some things you want to tattoo?

What can I do for you?

Having started my working experience grinding away in street shops. I was required to learn how to do every design that came through the door.
To tattoo all the flash displayed on the walls
and in the flash racks.
Without question.
I was tasked with learning my craft before being able to experiment freely on things of my own interest.
Under direction, I learned how to mimic the art
made by tattooers and their styles, based off
the flash they had created.
I then was able to try my hand at reproducing artwork folks brought into the shop for me to render into their skin as best I could.
Reference varied from all mediums imaginable.
If I could see a way to make it happen and the client was willing to experiment on what could be done.
We jumped in together.
Album cover art was one of my favorite sources of study as well as comic books of the era.
Folks had me reproduce portraits of famous people, master pieces, from oil paintings, images of statues, photographs, fine art , cave art and ancient text.
Sequences captured from movies and books excerpts to make story book tattoos.
It seemed after breaking out of the traditional format that I was first taught, learning subtle control of my tools and working on skin as a medium in general.
Everything was fair game after that, just by what folks were curious to have put on them.
Those I have had the honor to tattoo, opened up the entire world to me. Sharing their stories, cultural beliefs and traditions.

I learned what could be done safely and what was not something that would last well for a person’s lifetime.

Over time, I was able to introduce my own style and develop trust with people to be able to expand on my own passions.
Adding to the tools in my ever growing tool box.
Being given the freedom to explore my own curiosities as an artist, to push the boundaries imposed at each juncture and to experiment
in what else could be done within the limitations this art form offers.
I have arrived and continue to look forward to growing further with each project.

What are some themes I currently am looking to do, to add to my own works?

Anything to do with Nature, Horses, Mermaids, Pirates, Ninja’s, Mysticism and other Worldly Fascinations..
Wild life imagery with epic awe inspiring back drops. Abstract combinations with realism.
Surrealistic dream renderings and interpretations.

Full color. Black and Grey. Combinations of both.
I am inspired to do more pieces that are
innovative and out of the ordinary.

Thank you for your consideration.
